A huge number of entries from the talented young people at our Middle School for today’s Corbridge Food & Drink Festival Art Exhibition. Which made it a very tough job for the judges. But, again, all who took part are winners in our eyes. Here’s just a snapshot of the art works plus the winners. Thanks to everyone who took part! (Two pics) Congratulations to Sarah Williams and James Ferguson who were married at St Andrew’s Church in Corbridge at 1pm today…and then left in some considerable style. Met by a brass band in Market Place, the newlyweds, the band and the guests then marched along Front Street and across the bridge over the Tyne towards the reception. As ever, you never quite know what you might see in Corbridge!
More of judge Carol Malia’s reaction when she arrived at St Andrew’s Church yesterday to see 138 cakes had been entered for The Great Corbridge Bake Off!
