Some tires and maces are in guys! Larger outside tires (range from 300-750#) are chained up, and only available for use during staffed hours (staff will unlock). Inside tire is roughly around 350#, and can be flipped over in area at end of turf only. 10# and 15# maces can be used for all mace work exercises and sledgehammer work. 5# mace is only for mobility work, do not use it for hammers. Sam is a drug-free athlete, and the reigning USAPL, 63kg, women's national champion. She also holds the world deadlift record (221.5kg/488lbs). She will be representing Team USA in the IPF World Championships in Sweden, in a couple of weeks. Prior to her powerlifting career, Sam ran indoor track as a D1 athlete at University of Nevada-Reno. She later acquired her Masters of science from ODU. Sam works with all types of athletes, and is considered one of the world's top powerlifters. Competing at the Arnold's (invitational) expo the last few years, being on Team USA, and working with some of the nation's most prolific coaches herself, you'll definitely want to register for this one asap! You've all been asking, so here it is! This annual memorial workout is one that we fully support. Year after year, we continue to grow (over 60 participants last year), and we have donated thousands to the memorial fund. We have a minimum goal of $1000 this year as well! With that said, the workout is FREE for members, though donations are requested. Non-Members can join in with a minimum $15 donation. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Lt Michael P Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation.
