Yeah this weather sucks and yes I’ve been complaining about it and yes it totally affects my mood. I need sunshine but I guess I have to create my own god damn sunshine. SO I woke up early because I know that if I make time for myself before the world wakes up, I will be in a better mood. I know that if I exercise before the world wakes up it will make me happy. Never take your beautiful working body for granted because there are many people who can’t. Use that shit. Even though it’s hard AF to wake up early I never regret it.

There was a time in my life when I hated looking in the mirror. My face hurt SO bad. I thought I was ugly. I’d cry when I washed my face at night. WTF was my body doing to me?! I was so angry. Then I got real with what I was putting in my body. You know, food can mess you up. You may not feel it now but that fucker will sneak up on you in the worst way. . Nutrition is SO important. What are you choosing to fill your body with? Is it processed crap or drive throughs like I used to eat every single day? I’m not perfect. I have my days. We all do. Now I just know the effects. Luckily for me it was just acne. For others it’s low energy, inflammation, joint pain, heart disease... . We all have hiccups. Just use them to help you make good choices. How will you feel after you eat 7 donuts? How will you feel if you load up on sugar first thing every morning? I associate everything with feeling. For me, it helps me remember. I remember the feeling in that first picture and I don’t wanna go back there.

Today is payday and I wanna be real with you all. Where does all my money go? It goes into my bank so I don’t ever have to use another stupid credit card ever again. Ever been in credit card debt? Do you know what the average debt on a credit card is? It’s over $16,000 per household. WTF. Imagine having that hanging over your head PLUS a ton of us have student loans from college that take a lifetime to pay off. What an awful feeling and I can understand the anxiety around money. . Money isn’t everything but it DOES give you options. I didn’t get into network marketing because it was something I dreamed of. In fact, I didn’t even know WTF that term even meant. All I wanted to do was get healthy. I did and then I said hey maybe an extra hundred a month could pay for my groceries...and so on. All I did was make my health my business. Sometimes this is what working from home looks like. I’m not mad about it. That 46 pound bag of kettle corn accidentally got into my lap. Not sure how that happened. Weird. . Woke up at 5am and drank pre, had a call with a badass on our team, worked out with Salma virtually, created a new coach checklist for all the new badasses on our team, checked in with some clients, and made a grocery list. Then the kids got home, they played on their iPad (yeah whatever🙄), we did homework and went to the park! Hope you all had a great day too!😘
When fitness, health and business come together. I didn’t get into this knowing there was an opportunity to change my life financially. It may not look like I’m having fun. This workout I was just concentrating on getting it done. . The whole reason I started working out and eating healthy was because I was sick and tired of feeling like shit. Trust me, I would start and quit a million times before it stuck. The reasons why I workout and eat healthy evolve and it seems like everyday there is another reason why being healthy feels badass. Have you ever lost someone close to you who was sick? I have. I lost my mom to cancer when I was twelve. She was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age I am right now. 35. Will working out and eating healthy save me from getting sick? Maybe. It feels so fucking good to know I am doing everything in my power to feel my best inside and out though. . Be grateful you are able to do something for you. Be grateful you can use your body to workout. Show people how it’s done! You have so much power to live a happy and healthy life!! . Today my workout wasn’t lip syncing into my dumbbell microphone and there wasn’t one smile but I didn’t give up and for that I am proud. #itsthesmallthings
One week progress : -4kg 💪🏻 Hello there ! I haven’t been really active on here lately but I had my wisdom teeth removed and I could not do much to be honest ! I was in so so much pain I could not eat properly or exercise and as I did not respond well to the pain medication I could not even go to work for several days. Anyways, everything is so much better now, even though I still can’t really eat everything but it’s fine 😊 I will start running again tomorrow morning and hopefully it won’t get me any pains. Regarding my current weight loss I am happy but quite worried because to me it is mainly the result of poor nutrition because of my wisdom teeth.. I hope I won’t gain everything back up quickly ! I know the first kilos are always the easiest because a) it’s not installed fat and b) let’s face it, I have a lot to loose ! I hope your week has started well and that you are in a positive mindset. As I was driving home from my 5 year olds ballet practice yesterday, listening to her watch kids and parents on YouTube play with toys and telling her to turn down the damn volume, it finally came to me...the adult equivalent of kids watching other kids play with toys on YouTube is adults watching other adults get healthy or have success or reach goals on social media. Like, you know you should be playing with your own toys or getting healthy too but we spend our time watching it. . Some days I will scroll social media and be like, why not me? Just finished a workout and taking notes while watching a training live with Salma all while my sweet potato hash cooks. Every single one of these tasks is a part of my job. Also, posting it here on social is a part of it too. How would I be able to help others with health and financial stability if I don’t share about it, duh. We’re going to fail. It’s inevitable. It’s going to teach you something though. Once upon a time I was a personal trainer for three months at an awesome gym and got paid really well. There was something missing though. I wasn’t happy. I literally wrote a list of pros and cons. Wanna know what was on the list? . CONS: Behind on life. Missing out on time. Living for the weekend. Not seeing my kids before school or doing Cece’s hair. Having to ask for time off for vacation and check clients schedules. Everything is a rush. Life is rushed. Jake and I on opposite shifts. Fun on the weekend but also playing catch up. Sunday nights spent making programs for clients for the week. . PROS: Highly paid. Loved the clients and employees. . From that moment it was simple for me to decide even though it meant going back to one income and my side business that I have worked since Cece was 3 months old. My health coaching business is my baby and I missed it. I knew that I could replace my trainer income and I WILL be exceeding it. I know where I’m going and where my team is going and I can’t wait to help them with their health and financial dreams. I didn’t do this for five years for nothing. I do it because I have seen success and I enjoy it. There will always be a need for health and helping people find their lives. . Dinner!! Cleanse day 2 is almost done!! One more day to go! I don’t feel nearly as tired and probably will workout tomorrow. I actually feel very energized but do miss meat😂 I usually don’t eat dairy anyway and considering trying no gluten after this. I love experimenting with food to see what my bod likes. Luckily I’m able to make all the changes I want and still make it work with my meal plan to get enough calories and nutrients. You know that most people aren’t eating enough? That could definitely cause you to hold on to weight.
This community is everything. We are almost at 100 babes in our virtual gym!!! Can you believe that?! Some of these women we have never met but we talk everyday keeping ourselves accountable from all over the US, Canada and UK! How fucking cool is that?! Knowing you always have someone in your corner on the journey of life is an incredible feeling, isn’t it ladies?! 👭💪🏼♥️ I would have never even known half of these badasses if I didn’t make a lifestyle change to get healthy AF.
Finished my 3 week workout program!! Had some treats throughout and that’s the beauty about this program...there’s different ways to eat. Do you do better with having a treat or drink a few times a week? Or do you feel that once you let yourself have some, it turns into a LOT? Do you struggle with eating too much of certain things? . For me, I used to quit after 2-3 weeks because I didn’t have a group of badasses keeping me accountable. It was just me. When I did go to Zumba classes 300 years ago with friends...they quit and so did I. When I tried to do home workouts alone without my tribe, I quit. . Guess what?
