Transformation Tuesday 💜 Week 2 vs Week 15 I need to take recent pics soon but I’ve been in a slump for the last month or so. Gaining and then losing again, repeat. I’m down another 3 pounds so that’s a big plus, instead of heading the other direction. But every time I reach a new goal it’s like I have this overwhelming urge to sabotage my success. Not like a ‘I need to reward myself feeling’. It’s hard to explain. But I’m pushing through. Maybe a psychologist could help explain that one lol. I hope to be down another 2 pounds by the end of the month and should be right on track with my goal. I made the goal when I first got started with keto to be down 50 pounds by my 30th birthday on December. 31st. I will be down 50 from my max weight very soon but I have another 12 lbs to go from when I first started with keto. Either way I am thankful and proud of myself. This Friday is the 4 month mark so to be down 40 pounds is great. Especially to stick with it, for me this is a huge accomplishment because I wasn’t able to commit to anything weight related for quite some time. I just need to get out of the 240’s and move on. It’s all mental. When I stay on track the scale really moves! Overall though I feel really good. I don’t feel depressed or anxiety ridden. My fibromyalgia is better than it has been in years just by eliminating all those harmful “foods” and chemicals. I’m not beating myself up over slip ups, I just start fresh with each day. Guys and gals. Let me tell you something. This before and after of me has 5 years in-between them. What you do see is my physical change. What you don’t see is my altered heart, mind, and spirit. I went into my first treatment today to heal from my 2018 injuries (starts with ribs and goes everywhere else😂). Little did I know that my therapist would tap into some of the emotional burdens I’ve been carrying and suppressing for awhile now. The deep bruising along my central back from the cupping indicates distress in my heart. She told me that I’m a fire warrior, who is fiercely loyal to those around me but internalizes any hurt or betrayal in order to stay strong. She told me to release and I just started CRYING. I haven’t been vulnerable in awhile, but today’s session was very eye opening to me about the importance of emotional health in relation to physical health.
