Хочу немного рассказать о Микеланджело Буонарроти. В возрасте 26 лет он взялся за невероятно трудную работу – высечение статуи из 5-метровой глыбы испорченного мрамора. Один из его современников, не создав ничего интересного, просто бросил камень. Больше никто из мастеров не был готов облагородить искалеченный мрамор. Только Микеланджело не побоялся трудностей и спустя три года явил миру величественную статую Давида. Увидев это шедевр и колоссальный труд, выполненный за короткий срок, люди признали в нем гениального творца. Видимо поэтому ему досталось расписывать Сикстинскую капеллу. Как один из самых грандиозных проектов в живописи. Микеланджело обожал скульптуру и работу с камнем. Живопись не любил, объясняя свою не любовь тем, что это все "пустые картиночки для дам". Nicholas Roerich. Battle in the heaven. 1912. Location? . Vice President of the United States Henry A. Wallace was a frequent correspondent and sometime advocate of Nicholas Roerich's teachings. Wallace became attracted to the idea of Sacred Union of the East, a spiritual and geopolitical utopia Nicholas and Helena Roerich contemplated to establish in the heart of Asia. Based on spiritual ideas, which the Roerichs claimed they received from otherworld masters, this utopia was to show the humankind a blueprint of ideal society. As the US Secretary of Agriculture, Wallace became so much interested in the whole project that he decided to sponsor the second Roerich expedition to Asia in 1933–1934. In the meantime, Helena Roerich was corresponding with US President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who was intrigued by her "fiery letters." The whole project ended in a disaster and resulted in energetic efforts by Wallace and FDR to cut their ties with the Roerichs. . Masterpieces of the 16-20th centuries in the State Hermitage Museum collection” (till 04.04.2019) The goblet with a lid with a scene of hunting for a hare and a fox. Bohemia (ca.1725-1740). Entered in 1933 from the Museum of the Stieglitz Technical Drawing School, and until 1866 was in the collection of L.Ricard-Abenheimer (Frankfurt am Main). Inside at the lid is depicted the coat of arms of the Wittelsbachs, one of the oldest German clans, which ruled Bavaria from the 12th century until the end of the World War l. The presence of the coat of arms shows bespoke product. The main theme are scenes of hunting for a fox and a hare. This interglass gilding resembles the technique used by the masters of ancient Rome. Forgotten for many centuries, it was revived in Bohemia, at the beginning of the 18th century. The work is made of two glasses: one is wider, slightly lower, and a thickening at the edge. And the second, high, but with a smaller diameter. On it was applied gold foil with a pattern. Then the glasses were inserted one into another, sealed and cut. Between the layers of glass, you can still see the air bubbles and glue drips. ⚪Text: E.A. ПОСМОТРИ, ВЕДЬ ЧЕРНОГО И БЕЛОГО ЦВЕТА НЕТ... Так мне говорила моя преподавательница живописи Нина Григорьевна. Как сейчас помню, тема для написания картины была зима. И у меня сразу возник образ перед глазами, что я буду писать. "Белое снежное поле, ночное звёздное небо, вдали виднеется лес, а через поле из леса девочка везёт сани с хворостом."🎆 На первый взгляд ничего сложного написать такой сюжет не было, чёрное небо и белое поле, так я подумала в свои девять лет🙈 Но когда я приступила к работе оказалось, что глаз художника в черном и белом может увидеть множество оттенков. Ночное небо переливается оттенками синего, фиолетового,сияет от блеска звезд. А белый снег "впитывает" все оттенки окружающей среды. ✨Немного новогодней сказки✨ ⠀ У Томаса и его семьи был очень тяжелый год. Много утрат, работы и сожалений. Целый год, Томас, видя, как устают его родители, пытался быть хорошим мальчиком и не расстраивать их по пустякам,всячески помогать и поддерживать.
