This is my 2019 Dream Draft Scenario for our first two picks, and the best part about this so called “dream” is that it’s perfectly possible. This legitimately could happen, and I love that. The 49ers have two glaring needs going into the 2019 season, and that’s Edge Rusher/Defender, and Wide Receiver. With our First Round Draft Pick, I say that we stay at 2nd Overall and pickup the Best Pass Rusher and Overall Prospect in Nick Bosa. Drafting Bosa would allow us to instantly have a top tier D-Line featuring two ProBowlers in Deforest Buckner and Dee Ford. Drafting Bosa would also allow the team to push 2017 3rd Overall Pick Solomon Thomas back inside to his natural position, allowing everyone in the line to thrive. Our Second Round Pick will also remain in its original place at 36th Overall, where we pick up one of the many, hyper talented Wide Receivers in this stacked class. I think that AJ Brown should be the guy at 36. He reminds me of a young, more polished AB and I absolutely love his skill set. I also would be elated to get either Hakeem Butler, or K’Neal Harry here as well. This Wide Receiver Class is so stacked, it’d be pretty hard to go wrong with any of them. What do y’all want the Niners to do in the 2019 Draft? 🤘💛❤️
If there’s been one position that the 49ers have been dominant at, it’s Linebacker. This year should only continue our team’s 13+ year streak of Linebacking acumen. Fred Warner and Kwon Alexander are Modern Linebackers, both being leaner, faster tackling machines, with both also being capable of stuffing runs and covering receivers. Although both don’t have any crazy physical features, like a Luke Kuechly or Bobby Wagner per say, they both exhibit one key trait—heart. These two play hard, never giving up on plays no matter what the score is. I love that about the Linebacker position. Sure, it’s great to have athletic freaks and all, but heart, the ability to anchor the defense and lead your unit to victory is something that a high vertical jump will not provide. Don’t get me wrong though, these two are super talented players, with both possessing great speed, agility, and strength for the position. These two are not only physically talented, but mentally, and I think that’s unique. So what do y’all think about Kwon and Warner leading the defense in 2019? 🤘❤️💛
With the Cardinals nearly cementing their legacy of idiocy come April, would y’all like to see Defensive Phenom Nick Bosa taken with the 2nd Overall Pick, after Murray? The first two draft choices appear to be just about cemented. Personally, I would LOVE Bosa. He reminds me of a faster, more speed based version of his ProBowl brother. Bringing him in to pair with Ford, Buckner, and Armstead/Thomas, and we should get very used to seeing opposing QB’s with green stained jerseys. Do y’all wanna see Nick Bosa in Red and Gold? 🤘❤️💛
Contract: 1 Year / 1.8 Million, 300k Guaranteed 2018 Pro Football Focus Grade (PFF): 66.9 Acquisition Grade: A This is, yet again, another signing that I really like (there were a lot of these this Offseason,so get used to it 😂). Jordan Matthews is an interesting prospect. He had three amazing back-to-back seasons, proving that he was a Red Zone Target, as well as an open-field playmaker. However, once he left the Eagles after his Rookie Contract was up, he quickly declined. He signed with the Bills, and had a flop of a season (can’t really tell if that’s on him, or on the team. Likely the latter). He was released after his first year with the Bills, and then signed with the Patriots—where he was soon injured and lost his chance to prove himself. After that, he went back to the Eagles. However, the Eagles now possessed Alshon Jeffery, Golden Tate, and Nelson Agholor. With three starting Wide Receivers already on the roster, Matthews was buried on the depth chart. He did put together a serviceable season, but, unsurprisingly, nothing that pops off the page. Now he’s with us, and I believe that we could return him to his true form. First off, we have a relatively weak Wide Receiver Core, with only two justifiable starters in Dante Pettis and Marquise Goodwin. Matthews should be able to prove his worth immediately. Couple that with Kyle Shanahan’s offensive prowess, Matthews should have every opportunity to succeed with us. For only a one year “prove it” deal, worth an incredibly low 1.6 Million, I think that this is another low risk, high reward signing. What do y’all think of this acquisition? 🤘💛❤️
Contract: 1 Year/ 3.6 Million, 1 Million Guaranteed Pro Football Focus (PFF) Grade: N/A Acquisition Grade: A+++ This signing is absolutely BEAUTIFUL faithful. We got to sign Cornerback Jason Verrett to a 3.6 Million, one year “prove it deal”. Do y’all know what this man is capable of when he’s healthy? When on the field, Verrett is a top 10 Cornerback, easily capable of making ProBowls. This man is a ball hawk who has been proven to lockdown Mega Star Wide Receivers like Antonio Brown. Verrett is legit, and since he passed the CRUCIAL physical conducted by the Niners, signing him was a no brained. If this man can stay healthy, expect him and Sherman to be one of the best corner duos in the league. What do you think of this signing? 🤘❤️💛

The @49ers are currently shopping around for deals involving Solomon Thomas. Trade: Chiefs / 2020 Second Round Pick, 49ers / OLB Dee Ford Contract: 5 Years/87.5 Million, 20.5 Million Guaranteed 2019 Salary: 14.6 Million (Franchise Tag) 2019 Position Grade (PFF): 91.0 Acquisition Grade: A+ Faithful, I cannot reiterate how great of a trade this was. Dee Ford was the best pure pass rusher last season, amassing 13 sacks, and an INSANE 7 forced fumbles. Pro Football Focus (PFF) also gave Dee Ford a 91.0 2019 season grade, which was the highest pass rusher grade in the league. They also claimed that Dee Ford caused 10 turnovers from PRESSURE ALONE last season, which is mind boggling. With these numbers and talents, Dee Ford could completely change the potency of our D-Line. To acquire Dee Ford the Niners only gave up a 2020 Second Round pick—a very small price to pay for such incredible ability. Ford has only had one amazing season, so some people may have their eye brows raised while reading this. However, due to the acumen of Paarag Marathe, Ford’s contract, although massive, only has guarantees for individual Seasons played, as opposed to flat out, up front cash. If Dee Ford falls flat (extremely, EXTREMELY unlikely) the Niners can quickly move on from him, while only taking on a measly 6.4 million dead money hit for the 2020 season. This was a blockbuster move by the 49ers that carries a very low risk level. I’m certain that this move will be one that the league will praise for years to come. What’re your thoughts on the acquisition of Dee Ford? 🤘💛❤️
Since a majority of the quality free agents are now off the market, and teams are now gearing up with their respective rosters for 2020, which acquisition(s) has caught your eye? What player are you most excited to see wearing Red and Gold next season? Which one (or more) of these players is going to become a cornerstone for our 49ers? 🤘💛❤️ (I’ll write an article with my opinion tomorrow 😁)
The 49ers have finally signed a Red Zone Receiving Threat!! Wide Receiver Jordan Matthews agreed to a one year contract today. Matthews is 6’3, making him by FAR the tallest wide receiver on the 49ers roster. Although he has recently been struggling, he did have 3 800+ yard seasons in his short 5 year career. However, this is not the most impressive stat. The most important aspect of this signing are his 22 career touchdowns, with 16 of them coming from just two, 8 touchdown seasons ALONG WITH 16 of said 22 coming from INSIDE THE RED ZONE!! Matthews is a very physical receiver who could end up solving the 49ers red zone efficiency issues. Do y’all like this signing? 🤘❤️💛
The 49ers have signed Cornerback Jason Verrett to an AMAZING 1 Year/3.6 Million dollar deal!! This contract is incredible and could easily end up being one of the best moves that the 49ers made during this Offseason. Verrett is a one time ProBowl CB, and is, when healthy, one of the best cover corners in the league. “When healthy” is the big point here though, as he’s only played 5 games in the last 3 seasons. However, the Niners did bring him in for a workout AND physical today, meaning this contract has plenty of base to it. The 49ers Front Office liked what they saw from the 27 year old ProBowler, and couldn’t let him leave the building without a contract. I absolutely love this signing! Super low risk, but an EXTREMELY high reward deal. Another great move by John Lynch! The 49ers have also Re-Signed Safety Antone Exum to a 1 Year/895 Thousand dollar deal. What do y’all think of this move? 🤘❤️💛
The 49ers have announced multiple roster moves today, most importantly the Re-Signing of Defensive Back Jimmie Ward, and the Signing of Running Back Tevin Coleman. These are two really nice moves that will provide some very high quality depth to their respective positions. Jimmie Ward can play pretty much any position in the Secondary, making him a very reliable plug and play option. His deal is 1 year/5 Million. Tevin Coleman is a brand new addition to the team. This signing obviously is a “luxury” move based on our abundance of Cap Space. His deal will be 2 Years/10 Million, and will most importantly NOT result in the release or trading of beloved RBs Matt Breida and Jerrick McKinnon. They are expected to be a Trio-Back System that will give Kyle Shanahan an immense level of versatility in both the Passing, and Running games. Both are very nice moves and I agree with the contracts and all. The 49ers also declined DT Earl Mitchell’s 2019 contract option, making him an Unrestricted Free Agent. What do y’all think about the new signings? 🤘❤️💛
FINALLY, A BLOCKBUSTER TRADE! The San Francisco 49ers have agreed to a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs that will send Pass Rusher Dee Ford to the Red and Gold in exchange for a 2020 Second Round Pick. I LOVE THIS MOVE!!! Dee Ford earned ProBowl Honors this year and was an absolute MONSTER on the edge for Kansas City, amassing 13 sacks AND 7 FORCED FUMBLES!! The 49ers have also gotten him to agree to terms for a multi-year contract after this season. Amazing move by John Lynch; I’m absolutely digging this trade! The value is INSANE and this definitely is the right next step after the *cough cough* OBJ disappointment. Do you like this trade? 🤘❤️💛
Guys, day one of the Tampering Period is over, so now let’s focus on what the Niners should do during day two tomorrow. With Earl Thomas still being on the market, I think that the urgency of his signing becomes every more intense with each passing second. Now that the Houston Texans have lost star Safety Tyrann Matthieu to the Kansas City Chiefs, they will now be looking to fill the now glaring hole in their roster. What better way or fill a roster hole than with a player that’s been even BETTER than your previous one? Faithful, the Texans have more Cap Space than we do, and they could easily slip ET a very, very handsome offer. We need need to act FAST. Our defense would be a perfect scheme and personal fit for Thomas, and I thoroughly believe that he would take us over the Texans—for the right price. Make the deal John Lynch! OLB Justin Houston should also be a high priority for the Niners. A long time veteran in this league, he’s still very much in his prime at the age of 30. Signing Houston to a 4 year deal with INCENTIVES would be a great move, bringing both excellence and veteran leadership to our young defense. Finally, Odell Beckham Jr. This one is a bit of a stretch, but the Niners really are the only team capable of pulling off a trade for the Generational Wide Receiver, but a trade is still a trade, which means that very fine details could make deals fall apart. Our chances at getting Beckham are better than anyone else in the league, but it still isn’t good AT ALL. I do believe that it is a possibility, and if that is true, he should be pursued with every fiber of our franchise. Getting Jimmy G a franchise WR to age with would be something that any QB would dream for—and we may be able to make that happen. What do you want the Niners to do during the remainder of Free Agency? 🤘❤️💛
THE SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS HAVE SIGNED LINEBACKER KWON ALEXANDER TO A 4 YEAR/54 MILLION DOLLAR DEAL. BRILLIANT MOVE BY JOHN LYNCH!! FAITHFUL, ARE YOU READY FOR THE WARNER, ALEXANDER TANDUM?! I KNOW THE LEAGUE ISN’T!!! 🤘❤️💛
Here’s my dream off-season guys! Let’s start with the big guy on the left, Odell Beckham Junior. Faithful, I’m beyond happy that we DIDN’T get Antonio Brown. The things that he’s been saying lately have been vulgar, idiotic, and selfish. On top of that, his “change in scenery” with the Raiders is going to cost them 30 MILLION + in guaranteed money. That’s insane, and the fact that he’s 30; We dodged a bullet. However, the Niners still have a GLARING need at Wide Reciever. Marquise Goodwin, Dante Pettit, and Kendrick Bourne are all great players, but we need a real game changer. A true #1 wide receiver, and we can definitely find that in OBJ. All we would have to do is swap 1st Round Picks with the Giants, along with some other levels of compensation, and we would be good to go. With this trade hopefully going through, we end up drafting Florida State ED Brian Burns at #6 overall. Drafting Burns would solidify our defensive line and provide us with a long term possibly ProBowl Caliber player for years to come. Next, we’ll talk about Safety Earl Thomas. Yeah, he should be a no-brainer. A perfect scheme fit with All-Pro accolades, Thomas would bring a new level of excellence to a young, struggling secondary. Lastly, we have two players that I would be elated to acquire, OLB Dee Ford and OLB Anthony Barr. Either or is fine. Getting Barr, who’s unquestionably been the absolute BEST SLB (SAM, Strong Side Linebacker) in league for the entirety of his short career so far. He would be an amazing scheme fit, and would help solidify our Linebacker Core. The only downside with Barr would be his massive contract. He’s going to have a very busy Free-Agent Market, and he will get a King’s Ransom regardless of whatever team he signs with. He’s a perennial ProBowler, but that might not be so much his own acumen, than the rest of the league’s rather dry SLB group. With Dee Ford, however, he’s much more worthy of a massive contract. He’s a game changer, but us having to trade our Second Round pick for him, before we can sign him to said contract is a huge commitment, especially for a guy who’s had one GREAT season. What do you want the Niners to do this off-season? 🤘❤️💛
We have signed former All-Pro, Probowl Wider Receiver and Coach Wes Welker to an Offensive Coaching Job! This is some great news, as Welker has been an absolute beast during his time in the league. He revolutionized the Slot Receiver Position and his experience as both a player and coach will provide our young Provide our team with a nice boost. Great move for the Niners Offensive Unit! What do you think of Wes Welker representing the Red and Gold? 🤘❤️💛
Antonio Brown trade talks are expected to heat up during the scouting combine which is from Feb 26-Mar 4. Steelers will ask for a first round pick. Teams expected to be interested are the: 49ers, Saints, Packers, Seahawks, Colts and Eagles. Steelers will not trade Brown to the Ravens, Patriots or Browns.
Some news: 49ers have denied the Broncos request to interview QBs Coach Rich Scangarello for their OC job. The 49ers have fired head athletic trainer Jeff Ferguson after firing the strength and conditioning coach last week.
This is my dream offseason and there’s a path that could actually lead this to happen.. Just imagine 😮
The 49ers have blocked the Packers and Cardinals requests to interview 49ers run game coordinator for their Offensive Coordinator jobs. McDaniel is one of Kyle Shanahan’s right hand men and helps a lot with the playbook.
The 49ers have got to keep Robbie Gould at all costs this offseason. Gould is 82-85 since joining the 49ers and will command some big bucks after seeing all this bad kicker player around the NFL. If we have to franchise tag him then I’d do it but I’d look to ink a 3-4 year deal first.
I see all the Josh Allen to 49ers hype train but I am not apart of that. I don’t see what’s so special about Allen. He has no pass rushing skills, all he does is speed rush. I also question his fit in 4-3 defense. He also doesn’t seem like an every down EDGE more of a SAM LB like a Anthony Barr type. If Bosa goes #1 I would desperately look to trade back if I was the 49ers and target guys like Jachai Polite, Brian Burns, Clelin Ferrell. I’m not a big Josh Allen fan, lemme know your guys thoughts on him in the comments.
Michael Irvin: “My body shivers and shakes with the thought of Antonio Brown with Kyle Shanahan.” Me too Michael. Me too.
The National Championship game between Alabama and Clemson is tonight from Levi’s Stadium at 5:00 on ESPN. Here’s a list of top draft prospects to watch out for: DT Quinnen Williams (Alabama) S Deionte Thompson (Alabama) DE Clelin Ferrell (Clemson) OT Jonah Williams (Alabama) C Ross Pierschbacher (Alabama) DT Christian Wilkins (Clemson) DT Raekwon Davis (Alabama) CB Trayvon Mullen (Clemson) TE Irv Smith (Alabama) LB Mack Wilson (Alabama) RB Damien Harris (Alabama) DE Austin Bryant (Clemson) LB Tre Lamar (Clemson) WR Hunter Renfrow (Clemson)
49ers DBs Coach Jeff Hafley has joined Ohio State as the Co-Defensive Coordinator. The 49ers will now have to find a new DB coach and one guy I’d expect to see the 49ers interested in is Marquand Manuel. He was the DB coach in Atlanta when Shanahan was there and Kyle tried to hire him as 49ers DC but the Falcons kept him.
The 49ers are 1 of 5 teams along with the Raiders, Lions, Redskins, and Giants eligible to be on HBO’s Hard Knocks next season but Kyle Shanahan wants no part of it. “You’ll see the worst entertainment possible from me”. Kyle also feels like there’s personal things that don’t need to be shared on camera like cutting players. He feels like that's very personal. “These guys are fighting for their careers, and lives, and how much it means to be an NFL player.” The NFL can pick any team they choose and if the 49ers get picked they can’t do anything about it.
Clelin Ferrell wears 99 because of Aldon Smith. He also thinks he can be the player Smith should have been without all the off the field issues. Thoughts on Ferrell? Should the 49ers draft him at 2?
Wanted to share my predictions on the 8 head coaching openings. Not really a good year with candidates. Thank god the Niners finally found their HC for a long time with Kyle Shanahan. Lemme know your picks on the HC jobs.
49ers have fired Strength and Conditioning Coach Ray Wright. Good move here, the injuries have got to stop and hopefully we hire someone better.
The 49ers are the most hated team in Washington, Idaho and Montana according to this graphic. The Seahawks are the most hated team in California which makes sense.
You know what the crazy part about this picture is? It’s the fact that we already have everyone depicted except for one. Faithful, we already have a MONUMENTALLY talented offensive squad, and with the ever looming Antonio Brown trade, this unit could be propelled to the top of the NFL. For starters, we have Jimmy G, a proven winner and ace who commands the respect of every present defensive player. We also have the best Tight End in the NFL in George Kittle, who had the SINGLE BEST YEAR that a Tight End has EVER HAD, with a backup QB. Our Running Back core is another strong point of this unit, with the Duo of Jet McKinnon and Matt Breida possibly becoming as impactful as those two guys down in NOLA. Breida is a little powerhouse who has the ability to tank hits and power through holes, similar to Mark Ingram, whom of which doesn’t have the same impact in the passing game. My Alvin Kamara comparison is Jet, who is shifty, quick, agile, and flexible. He can definitely provide us with an Offensive Swiss Army Knife-like impact on the offensive front. We also posses Raheem Mostert, who is the NFC’s Best Special Teamer and a nice change of pace back. Our Wide Receiver core is no laughing matter either, with us already having Marquise Goodwin, who with Jimmy, almost managed to break 1000 yards in a single season. Let’s not forget about Dante Pettis, who towards the end of the season, looked like an X-Factor weapon, with great elusive ability and route running. He’s going to be something really special for us, for a long time. And finally, we have a great opportunity to trade for the BEST Wide Receiver in the league in Antonio Brown. Guys, AB possesses Extreme Red Zone Efficiency, Deep Threat Capabilities, and PERFECT Route Running. I don’t care about his monster contract, or what we’d have to give up for him, or how he’s 30. He is constantly in the MVP Conversation year in and out, and we have a LEGITIMATE CHANCE to acquire him. And if we do get him, expect the league to see us Strike Gold very, very soon. So what do y’all think? Do you like the idea of Antonio Brown becoming a 49er? 🤘❤️💛
Marquise Goodwin and Earl Thomas hanging out at the Texas game yesterday 👀 Both are Texas Alums and share the same agent. Another connection that could possibly point towards Earl Thomas signing with the 49ers in Free Agency.
Greg Papa has been announced as the new Play-By-Play radio announcer for the 49ers replacing Ted Robinson who did it for 10 years. Papa worked 21 years with the Raiders.

There’s “some buzz” that the 49ers will pursue WR Odell Beckham Jr if the Giants look to trade him this offseason. Beckham, 26, signed a 5/95 last offseason.
FAITHFUL, THIS IS NOT A DRILL! NFL PERENNIAL PRO BOWL, ALL-PRO WIDE RECEIVER ANTONIO BROWN HAS REQUESTED A TRADE OUT OF PITTSBURGH. Now, many players request trades all the time. But as you can see, our very 49ers players took a shot at recruitment, to be met with an actual response by Brown himself. That’s insane. Brown absolutely would not do that if he didn’t not only desire to be released/traded from Pittsburgh, but also want to come to the Niners. He responded to George Kittle’s tweet, which was retweeted by Jimmy G, and commented on by Adrian Colbert and EA Sports. That is a very serious action, and it could hint at a possibly massive move in the coming days. Check your news faithful, something big is coming. Would you welcome Antonio Brown to the 49ers? 🤘❤️💛
John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan are entering their biggest offseason yet. The decisions made here in Year 3 will go along way on how the team will do in the future. Here’s what I think our needs are (no order): EDGE, CB, WR, Interior O-Line, LB.
Yesterday, unfortunately, was the last game of the 2018-2019 season for the 49ers 🥺 So it was mandatory we made our annual trip to The Coliseum for the 49ers/Rams game 🏈❤️💛 I thought Tommy Lasorda was my last signing of 2018 . . . BUT the 49ers made sure it wasn’t since we got to the stadium early 💪🏾 THANK YOU to every single player who stopped and took the time to sign for not just me but everyone else 👌🏾(Shout out to my lil homie Ben who helped me get the majority of my autographs even though he smeared Pettis’ 😂) And THANK YOU to the San Francisco 49ers for being one of the BEST organizations in professional sports handing out t-shirts and rally towels pregame on the road and for capturing moments I thought would just be memories 👍🏾 This season might have been a disappointment to most, but I loved how resilient and scrappy this team played the entire year, even with all the injuries. The future is bright and I look forward to next season. FOREVER FAITHFUL! 💯🏈❤️💛 #nickmullens #dantepettis #marquisegoodwin #solomonthomas #deforestbuckner #cassiusmarsh #mattbreida #raheemmostert #49ers #sanfrancisco49ers #niners #ninerempire #ninergang #sf49ers #49ersla #49erslosangeles #49erfaithful #faithfulthenfaithfulnow #ninernation #redandgold #redandgoldtillimdeadandcold #autograph #brickbybrick #nfl #football #la #losangeles #losangelesmemorialcoliseum #losangelescoliseum #thecoliseum
49ers RT Mike McGlinchey: “I’m not satisfied with how I played this year. Everyone says it was a great rookie year. I’m not playing to be a great rookie. I’m playing to be the best in the league.” Love the attitude.
LG Laken Tomlinson suffered a torn MCL but won’t require surgery. He has a 3 month recovery which is good news.
Here’s our free agents this offseason. I’m down with bringing back Gould, Pinion, Person and Nzeocha.
The 49ers and Raiders coaching staffs are expected to coach the Senior Bowl on January 26th. Potential top 5 pick Josh Allen will be playing in the game.
KITTLE OVER THE MIDDLE!!! IF THIS MAN DOESN’T GET 1st Team All-Pro THEN I WILL HAVE OFFICIALLY LOST ALL FAITH IN THE NFL. KITTLE IS THE BEST TIGHT END IN THE LEAGUE, UNBIASED TRUTH. PERIOD. 49ER MVP OF THE SEASON AND ALL TIME SINGLE SEASON RECEIVING YARDS LEADER FOR TIGHT ENDS!!! WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE GEORGE KITTLE MOMENT OF THE YEAR?! 🤘❤️💛
The 49ers 2019 Opponents are set. Weeks and dates will come in a few months but the opponents are already determined.
And the 49ers 2018 season comes to an end at 4-12. So the Niners get back Jimmy G and McKinnon while also adding in the 2nd overall pick and around 70M in cap space. Definitely got some things to accomplish this offseason but future looks good.
Congratulations George Kittle for owning the most receiving yards in NFL history by a TE with 1,377 yards! What a season. Kittle is a superstar
49ers have a decision to make this offseason. Before the season the 49ers picked up Arik Armstead’s 9M 5th year option but the 49ers can cut him before March and save that 9M without a cap hit. If i’m the Niners I would keep Armstead. Sure 9M seems like a lot for a run defender but he has had the best year of his career as he stayed healthy all 16 games and ranked as the 49ers 2nd best defender by PFF. Armstead is a big part of why the 49ers run defense ranked 9th in the NFL. Thoughts? Do you want to keep Arik Armstead for next season?
The available WRs for the 49ers on Sunday are gonna be Kendrick Bourne, Trent Taylor, Richie James and Steven Dunbar and likely Max McCaffrey from the practice squad. So a 5th round pick, 7th round pick and 3 UDFAs. Just throw the ball to Kittle every play and let him get the record.
Kyle Shanahan says the 49ers coaching staff will coach the Senior Bowl if they’re asked by the NFL. The teams with the lowest winning percentage get the first opportunity to coach the game. 1 staff from the AFC and 1 from the NFC. The 49ers could still coach the game even if the Cardinals are ahead of them in the draft order because Arizona is expected to fire HC Steve Wilks after 1 season. Good opportunity to see players up close and personal to see who you like and would want to draft.
The 49ers and Jets are very close to each other in strength of schedule. Right now the 49ers are at (504) and Jets are at (506). The lower SOS gets the higher pick so right now the 49ers are 2nd and the Jets are 3rd in the draft order but things could change. For the Jets to get ahead of the 49ers assuming both teams lose on Sunday the Jets need 3 out of 4 of these scenarios to happen: Giants over Cowboys Ravens over Browns Bucs over Falcons Chargers over Broncos So this gives you a good idea of which teams to root for this Sunday. Go Cowboys, Browns, Falcons and Broncos. We just need 2 of them to win and we secure the 2nd overall pick barring an unexpected win from Arizona over Seattle which would put the 49ers at 1st overall.
Richard Sherman on possibly playing with Earl Thomas again in SF: “I would love to. I’m sure he will have a plethora of opportunities, but I’m sure we’re going to throw our hat in the ring.”
Nick Mullens in his first 7 career games has the 3rd-most passing yards in NFL history since 1970. 1st - Patrick Mahomes 2,149 2nd - Cam Newton 2,103 3rd- NICK MULLENS 1,995 4th - Andrew Luck 1,971
