Through playing ⚽️ , 🏐 , running track 🏃♀️, and now 🏋🏼♀️ , I have learned a lot from being an athlete the majority of my life. - When I first started playing sports I was young and was only really interested in having fun... but as I reflect through the years I realize that being an athlete changed how I started to view life. 🤜🏼For instance, when I’m in a tough spot in life and I feel like I’m losing, I’m only more motivated to do whatever it takes to get out of it- to turn my losses into victories. 🤜🏼When I feel unmotivated, I have learned to dig deep and find the motivation to not give up because quitting is not an option. 🤜🏼Not every win is a quality win, sometimes I know I can be doing better than what I actually am. 🤜🏼It’s the stuff that makes you want to puke that improve your endurance, strength, and mind. 🤜🏼Rest is crucial and it’s important to know when to rest 🤜🏼Never expect support but appreciate those who do support you 🤜🏼Never be afraid of losing, it will happen at some point anyways so you may as well always be on your game regardless of how many wins or losses are under your belt 🤜🏼Getting discouraged is natural however, it’s important to be mindful that being discouraged doesn’t get you very far but having faith does. ... I think I could keep going on for days but I think you get my point. 👇🏼How has being an athlete or working out helped shape the way you see life?
