We send our very best wishes for a speedy recovery to Rachel Barton Pine as we announce her cancelation with us due to health concerns. Thank goodness the brilliant Alana Youssefian is enthusiastically willing to step in and perform Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D major. It will STILL be a wonderful program! The Clement Violin Concerto in D major had not been performed in 200 years before Rachel Barton Pine @rbpviolinist got a hold of it. She wrote the cadenzas and became the first to record it in 2007. Now she’s coming to perform it with PBO Feb 6-10! So excited! Ticket info in our bio. #historicallyinformedperformance #clement #violin #violinconcerto
BREAKING NEWS: Join us in welcoming our new Music Director Richard Egarr!
