You might remember last year I did a big campaign to raise money for @leukemialymphomasociety While I am not doing the campaign again this year it is giving Tuesday and I would love for you to meet Tris And Arlie. They are the Boy & Girl of the year this year. Since it’s giving Tuesday I would love for you to consider giving to the @leukemialymphomasociety in their names today. As many songs as we’ve written and times that we’ve worked together somehow last night was the first time @ksrhoads and I actually played together live. So much fun was had at the @bluebirdcafetn last night. Maybe too much actually. I don’t have a picture of the two incredible women that were also a part of the round last night but my friend @mariemillersing was amazing and my new friend @emilykoppmusic was...y’all...so so good. Thanks to @johnnytnash for asking me to be a part of it and helping to provide free music to the people of Nashville. PS...Doesn’t this photo look like I’m a weird fan of KS and he’s like “hurry up with this photo already.” #knightsinn #bluebird #bluebirdcafe #nashville #tennessee
11 years ago a went to the Razorback football game where my girlfriend was being announced as the homecoming queen of the University of Arkansas. I remember yelling out “That’s my girlfriend!” If you know me you know I’m not a yeller. The guy next to me said “Yeh right dude.” We went back forth with me trying to convince him that she actually was my girlfriend. Apparently I really wasn’t fitting the boyfriend of a queen vibe back then. He never believed me. 11 years later we are back and I couldn’t be more proud of you sweetheart. Not because you were homecoming queen, but because it was the precursor to the person that you would become. You are beautiful, strong, creative, courageous and simply unstoppable. I love you and I love that our little girl gets to see how awesome a woman can be in this world every day.
Excited to announce that @thebandsawyer will be joining us on the road this fall for the Somethin’ About Christmas Tour! These ladies are amazing and I can't wait for you to hear them. If we're coming to a city near you, don't miss it! (Link in bio)
