Great run out around Coledale Horseshoe, couple of extra peaks bagged too. So worth setting the alarm early!
Great way to spend Sunday evening, running up Penhill and making it back to the car before a heavy downpour. Took this shot by leaning my phone against a rock and sprinting for the edge, I think it turned out okay.
Awesome Trail run around Gunnerside, taking in 1600ft of elevation gain. It’s nice to have some great Trails so close to home.
Striding Edge. Always drawn to this classic Lakeland route, it’s easy to see why it was voted a favourite among walkers alike. This shot was taken a couple of weeks back, before further snow fall.
Sunday morning on Striding Edge, looking out towards Fairfield/Dolly Wagon Pike. Conditions were really great, beautiful clear skies and the sun was shining. Can’t think of a better way to spend the morning!
Early morning light over Ullswater. Took this picture first thing on Sunday morning before an epic day on Hellvellyn.
Another shot from Yesterday’s Hike up Blencathra. Can’t wait to get back out in the fells already, in what’s turning out to be a great winter.
Morning light catching the slopes of Blencathra. It was really great to be treated to such nice conditions. The low level fog soon burned away by the morning sun, which lit the slopes an amber colour. When I reached the summit there was no one in sight. Perfect morning in the fells.
A snow capped Blencathra last month. I never get bored of this mountain, there’s so many great routes up it. This picture was taken just after a testing climb up sharp edge in winter conditions.
