#Tbt — Security Officers across Silicon Valley who protect tech giants like Facebook, Google and Genentech — ratified their first union contract after over five years of organizing and bargaining. We made a film about their struggle earlier this summer, and it was used in the negotiations. This is why I do what I do, because sometimes you can help make a difference. The new contract isn’t perfect, but it’s a step in the right direction, and could get people like Elizabeth off the streets.
My job is cool because sometimes I get to shoot stories about wild futuristic things and stay in my apartment.
Tomorrow we are releasing a documentary that I’ve worked on for most of this summer, where we examine the struggles different actors within the marijuana industry are facing in California. Here I am with an officer from the Fresno County Sheriffs Dept, who are facing an uptick in black market grows that are often run by Mexican cartels and using pesticides that are harmful and illegal in the US. There’s much, much more to this story. Can’t wait to share it with you.
Found negatives from some of the first photographs I took on a film camera. This ones from 2007. I used to walk past this guy every single day outside St Andrews Church in Bandra. Posting more as I find them.
Let’s be real I took this mostly because of the flying unicorn. My friends are cute too.
