The Cairngorms were putting on an impressive light show today! Reminding us why we love this area so much. Looking north west from the summit of An Socach towards Beinn Bhrotain.
Oh what a Summer it’s been! Beinn Eighe a few weeks ago. Looking forward to some autumnal day’s rolling in soon...🍂🍃🍁
Probably one of the best views in Britain...! Looking forward to heading North again soon 😬
Looking like there’s gonna be some biblical rain this weekend...! A definite deviation from the norm this Summer! Descending into Coire Mhic Fhearchair earlier this month on a gorgeously hot sunny day.
Hot dry days in the Cuillin... Part of the lovely airy traverse between Sgùrr na Banachdich and Sgurr a’Ghreadaidh. Hoping for more good weather in the next couple of weeks...!
A reasonably rare photo of me in the mountains...! •Last weekend ticking off our final Munros in the Cuillin - on the summit of Sgurr a’Ghreadaidh after a terrific airy scramble from Sgurr na Banachdich. One of the hottest climbs I think we’ve ever done. Now to turn our attention to some of the terrific climbs and scrambles...! • 📷 @mrcraigcollin 🖤
Skye. Never fails to deliver. Days finishing the ridge today and small hills with BIG views yesterday. • Also lovely to properly meet two Instagram folks getting their first taste of Skye Ridge life!!
Deserted beaches, amazing weather and our favourite form of transport. What a day in the Outer Hebrides!
What a week to be off work! Super sunny Torridon days playing on Beinn Eighe yesterday...! Kayaking fun today exploring Loch Marees many islands then moving on tomorrow...!!
Lubnaig, Loch (Stirling) ‘Loch of the Bend’. Lùb (Scottish Gaelic) ‘bend’, with a double Scottish Gaelic suffix, -an, and -aig, both of which indicate ‘small’ - although the loch isn’t particularly small...! Thanks to @paprikahayes for my book about Scottish place names! Despite Loch Lubnaig not being very small it is particularly scenic!
Marsco. Surely one of the most epic hills on Skye! Insane views over to Clach Glas and Bla Bheinn on a gorgeously roasting hot sunny day recently.
Beinn Alligin looking ridiculously good from the summit of Mullach an Rathain. One of the clearest and most gorgeous days we’ve ever experienced on a mountain - and what a mountain.
Looking forward to more lovely evenings paddling this Summer. This was last Sunday night at Eilean Donan Castle, super warm and a lovely sunset. Smashing 👍🏻
Looking over the Red Cuillin to Glamaig from the summit of Marsco. Definite change of pace this weekend as compared to last. May was an outstanding month of weather to be on Scotland’s Mountains! Here’s to a fabulous June ☀️😍⛰
Just the most insane weekend spent in Kintail then Skye in glorious sunshine! Mountains, kayaking and incredible views. On the summit of Ciste Dubh with the northern side of the 5 Sisters in view.
