Totally obsessed with Richard Serra’s works at the moment and here shown in a beautiful Paris home. Wow, not jealous at all.
Monday morning and on my way into the back left corner and my home office to make things happening.
This kind of morning light on some of my favorite things always makes me smile. Happy Friday folks!
Great project in Chicago by Atelier AM. The sculpture on the wall is ”The Almighty Shadow” and made by Chris Ofili. What I see in this picture besides all the beautiful interior is something I’d like to call symmetry perfecton.
Axel Einar Hjorth and Philip Arctander via Pierre Yovanovitch. Scandinavian design at its best!
Is there really an Basquiat hiding in the hallway? Project in Antwerp by Axel Vervoordt.
Picture from a serious collectors home featuring an Ours Polaire armchair by Jean Royère, coffetable by Jean Prouvé and a 70s masterpiece by Willem De Kooning. All shown in the Jean Prouvé double volume book published by Galerie Patrick Seguin.
First real Monday morning since June which means back to business and spending more time in my favorite corner at home.
View from Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi’s livingroom in Bevery Hills featuring a wonderful mobile by Alexander Calder hanging in front of a beautiful painting by Cy Twombly. Jealous? Me?? Naa.. Or maybe.. Little..
Throwback to a couple of weeks ago when Pierre Jeanneret’s beautiful secretary desk hit my livingroom. Still amazed how great piece it is and honeymooning of luck that just I have managed to get it. It makes me smile and pieces in life that makes you smile are keepers.
Jean-Michel Frank’s re-issued design for Hèrmes. Simple and elegant just the way I prefer it.
Same apartment as yesterday but a different view. Great to see a file rack by Pierre Jeanneret in this room, it goes very well to the Oscar Niemeyer lounge chair.
Who wouldn’t love to have an Oscar Niemeyer lounge chair in their bedroom? I’m first on that list. Picture from a Paris apartment by Joseph Dirand.
