I love horses and riding as much as I love eating out and cooking delicious food. I find horses to be such calming creatures and I love the feeling of freedom when galloping across the hills.... until I hit my head on a branch 🤷🏼♀️ It’s certainly up there with the best of feelings... (the galloping, not being clocked on the head). I was therefore delighted to be invited to visit Bella Ragazza at @hughiemorrison ‘s yard in Newbury this week with @sistersjunction . The beautiful Bella won the @goodwood_races @mirabeauwine fillies cup back in the summer, just after we’d accidentally soaked Hughie with champagne 🍾🍾🍾 I fell in love the moment I laid eyes on her! She’s certainly deserving of her name. I’ve also spent a lot more time in the saddle this week, time very well spent. One day I shall have my own 🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄 #lifegoals #horsesofinsta a huge thank you for the boots @fairfaxandfavor - they were perfect for the occasion!

I’m back at my parents for the week, up in the #malvernhills ... relaxing. My “relaxing” break from the city started with a bang when my Dad drove over my foot with his car in Waitrose carpark (accidentally... The first aiders were brilliant and I left with a free pack of frozen of peas, so every cloud). Nothing broken thankfully but not an experience I’m keen to repeat. Consequently father had been very eager to help me in the kitchen and we’ve been enjoying cooking our way through @ottolenghi ‘s Simple. Last night we enjoyed the pappardelle with rose harissa, black olives and capers, we’ve made the butternut squash salad which I love and tonight were whipping up the curried lentil, tomato and coconut soup. I love this shot of @frankie_u ‘s hands hard at work, prepping the courgettes that accompanied our @thehappyfoodie #ottolenghisimple feast a few weeks back. The recipes really are... #simple !
Touched down in London Town... thank you @british_airways @alexandradudley @billy_and_jack would you mind rustling me up another bowl of that kohlrabi, artichoke and radish salad... it was bloody delicious. And doesn’t my lavender and herb posey look delightful sat right there next to it? Gorgeous serving blow from @anthropologieeu ... all washed down with @mirabeauwine Classic👌🏻

Our perfectly Provençal lunch setting at Jeany and Stephen, @mirabeauwine co-founder’s, home. Overlooking the garden and the valley of #Cotignac we enjoyed a menu written by @billy_and_jack and created with help from @alexandradudley in the glorious sunshine. @iamlaurajackson @sistersjunction Jeany and myself used gifts kindly sent over by @anthropologieeu and @bastideofficial to bring the table to life. I really loved the delicate details...the copper coasters, the pink cloth napkins, the bubble glasses and the Perasima serving bowl. Utterly dreamy 😍
On Monday I’ll be jetting off with @british_airways back to the beautiful village of #Cotignac in Provence to visit @mirabeauwine with @iamlaurajackson , @alexandradudley and @billy_and_jack . I really love the village market - so many colours and fresh ingredients. I wonder what we’ll cook up with all the delicious fruit and veg we find 😋 so looking forward to having a cool glass of rosé in hand, no matter what the weather man is saying! @lechameau1927 & @barbour to the rescue!

Today I had the pleasure of attending @thehappyfoodie cook book club hosted by @ottolenghi and @tara.wigley in celebration of Yotam’s new book, Simple. I made this delicious roasted butternut squash salad served with lentils and dolchelatte and very much enjoyed the company of all who attended, such a lovely crowd of passionate #foodies . Especially lovely to catch up with @jaeellepea who organised the event and made @ryelondon look so bloody beautiful.
