This is a little laminated travelers notebook I made a few weeks ago. I used a thick page from an old atlas as the base. The fish is from an old encyclopedia. Other bits added are ephemera, rubber stamping, washi tape, stickers, some punched circles, elastic and a little tassel. I am enjoying using it very much. My first daily journal completed! I doubted myself so much when I started. This is the reason I purchased $4 notebook from kmart. I assumed I would keep my journal for a couple of weeks and then it would probably turn into a shopping list book! I am pleased to say I have documented each day of the past 4 months. A double layout from my junk journal, this collage was made from pages from old botanical book, childrens encyclopedia, hardanger embroidery book, magazines, an atlas and a piece of drafting grid paper along with washi tape a botanical sticker and punched circles. I used a copic marker in warm grey to colour the leaves of the botanical illustrations & to edge the scripture verse strips.
