Hey everyone. My dear friend @mercedesmason is raising money to support incredible orgs like @supportkind (Kids in Need of Defense) and @raicestexas, that help reunite families immigrating to the US who have been separated. Let’s show compassion to all. Help these organizations working to reunite immigrant families and defend their safety when you get a “Compassion” tee here: omaze.com/compassion. 100% of the net proceeds from this tee will go to these organizations. ❤️ #reunitedstatesofcompassion
Debbie Downer here reminding everyone who is using fireworks today to do so with extraordinary caution. The massive Eagle Creek wildfire in Oregon last year that burned for 2 months and destroyed 48,000 acres was started by a teen playing with fireworks.
Happy 4th Of July! 🇺🇸 Have fun and be safe - today is statistically the deadliest day of the year for drunk driving. Also, take care of your pets today! @henrythewobblyfrenchie hates fireworks like most pets. This morning I put @rescueremedy in his water bowls, and will give him a bit of doggie trazodone at night. Also white noise machines everywhere. Other helpful hints: keep them indoors, with their collar IDs up to date, and microchips as well. ❤️
WORLD CUP SPIRIT ANIMALS 😍 (Nota bene: some people think I’m making fun of them. I’m 100% not. I love how spirited they are with their hats, and I, too, have spent every WC match I’ve watched eating. So I meant they’re my spirit animals in a good way ❤️)
#Repost @petesouza with @get_repost ・・・ Merrick Garland was nominated by President Obama on March 16, 2016, eight MONTHS before the Presidential election. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell refused to give him a hearing. Eleven days after the inauguration, the new president nominated Neil Gorsuch and he had a hearing eight weeks later. Let’s never forget that. Elections have consequences.
