Get some rosé fun facts with Zak while you drink up our #LaborDay open pour special! 2 hours of bottomless rosé for $30🍷 #repost @zakesinger ・・・ START YOUR WEEK WITH SCIENCE! It may be hot outside but the rosés is cold at Ardesia Wine Bar. The Greeks started making rosé 26 centuries ago when they founded a colony in Marseille where they first introduced grape vines to the region that is now Provence. The wines were similar on color to modern day rosé due to the fact that mace ration or breaking down of skins to add color was not yet practiced. Now, rosé gets its color by immersing the skin of red grapes in the wine for a very short time between 2-20 hours. The sooner the grape skins are removed, the lighter the rosé. Put this knowledge to the test with me tonight at Ardesia Wine Bar. $30 gets you two hours of all you can drink of a bitchin Austrian Rosé plus a serving of refreshing rosé sorbet. So come party like it’s 600 BC with me to celebrate the end of summer. #startyourweekwithscience #ardesia #ardesiawinebar #rosewine #provence #zweigelt #rosésummer #rosé
