Finally got to see this masterpiece! Cannot express what a true honor it was to get to work under these two and the incredible team behind this unforgettable must-see film. So humble, so hard working, so kind, and so damn talented. So happy to see how all your tireless work has truly paid off. Love you guys so much and congratulations. Long live science!
Don’t know why, but today I’m feeling extra grateful for having been laid off from my last job. Here’s a picture of me the day it happened. Just want to keep it real for all the people out there who look at social media and think people’s lives are perfect. Cheers to anyone else who’s ever lost a job...I bet you walked away from it a stronger person 💪
Our story on the softball league that’s bringing rival Crip neighborhoods together is online now (link in bio). Happy to announce that since their story aired, three members from a Blood neighborhood attended their last game. Exciting to see how one group can defy history.
A piece that is very near and dear to my heart airs tonight. I had the honor of spending some 8 months with current and former members of various Crip sets who have been working to bring their communities together and settle their differences through a softball league. Crips kill crips and this league has been working to address the internal issues with the hope of one day bridging the gap with the Bloods. The gentleman I was supposed to feature in this piece was shot and killed days before we were supposed to film and then we lost another great soul just a few months later. Hope you all can tune in. They really are a remarkable bunch. This one’s for you, Dollar Bill and Twin 🙏❤️
“The Unknown (Explored, Explained, Exploded),” is British artist Damien Hirst’s work of an actual tiger shark severed into three pieces 👀🦈 👀
This is the Eloy Immigration Detention Center in Arizona, where Jose, a Honduran asylum seeker who tried crossing the US-Mexico border legally, was held, separated from his 3-year old son for two months, and then reunited with him just yesterday. "He must have thought that I had abandoned him," Jose told us. Our story about what happens next for the two, like many others, who just have to figure out life in the US once released, airs tonight. #vicenews #vicenewstonight
