Cradle Mountain was probably the best stop of our honeymoon. Tomorrow is the last day and I really don’t want to say goodbye to Tassie
Bruny Island was beautiful on Wednesday. Hopefully we can get to Cradle Mountain tomorrow for some more beautiful Tasmania Landscapes ❤️
Pano of the Tessellated Pavement; Although these depressions look manmade, they are the result of a rare type of natural erosion.
Went for a trip today to Mount Field - chasing the snow. Got more than we bargained for and turned back half way!
The Cascade Brewery is Australia’s oldest Brewery. The grey clouds behind it in this photo are usually where you can see Mount Wellington where the brewery gets all its water from but the snow storms are keeping the mountain all to itself at the moment
Pumphouse Point was originally built in the 40s as a system to pump water from Lake St Clair into the nearby St Clair Lagoon. It was sadly never used and decommissioned in the early 90s having never been used for its intended purpose. It is now owned by the Tasmania Government and managed by Parks and Wildlife who have leased it to Simon Currant in 2004. By 2015 Simon had created one of the most exclusive and most impressive hotel locations in Australia on top of the deepest lake in the country.
The Conservatory in the Hobart Bontantical Gardens was my favourite place from yesterday. So beautiful. 🌷🌿
