Hi Everyone, It's Alexandra, VP and Co-founder of Tails of The Misunderstood Canine Rescue Society. Rolo has been at the emergency vets office since 8:30 this morning. He was showing symptoms just as his brothers, Snickers and Skor before they passed. I got him in just in time so that are Veterinary team could work on saving his life. He has been under constant care and supervision while receiving intravenous fluids as well as antibiotics. He needs to stabilize in order to receive the plasma transplant that he desperately needs. He has had a few seizures today but it's still fighting. On top of everything else going on medically in the rescue, the emergency of these three puppies have taken a toll on our emergency funds. We are in desperate need of monetary donations in order to continue treatment for Rolo and precautionary medication for the remainder of the five puppies. You can make a donation by going into McKnight Veterinary Hospital under our account, making a donation on our website or by sending an e-transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org with the password being medical. I ask you all to share this status, as well as to send as many prayers and love as you can. Updates will be posted on this thread to keep everybody up-to-date on Rolo's medical status. Thank you all! Much love and positive vibes! Alexandra
On Tuesday our nightmare became worse when baby Skor lost his fight. Skor went to heaven with his brother. Testing came back negative to everything we could test for. We are still unsure why our babies are getting so sick. To make matters worse our emergency fund account is depleated and now we have baby Rolo in the vets. Please please please share our post and think about making a donation. We are not giving up on Rolo and hopefully new blood tests can let us know what is wrong with him. Our hearts are breaking and we need your help in order to help these sweet innocent babies. We are fighting for you all! We may have gone from 8 to 6 but we will never give up. To make a donation you can call McKnight 24 Hour Vet at 403-457-0911, etransfer us at email@example.com and set the password as medical, call the rescue line at 587-572-9663 and give a credit card, or make a donation on our website. Any amount helps. We know you are all praying for our babies and we thank you from the depths of our souls.
