WOW. It has been a ROUGH few months... maybe even years if you want to count back that far. We are now only 40 days away from our “new lives” and “fresh starts” in the big state of Arizona. Some have accused us of running away, avoiding our problems, etc. While our lives and current issues may be quite a bit different from one another’s, our main goals are the same... happiness, healthiness, newness, and a chance to have the lives we dreamed of. If there’s one thing I learned over the years, it’s that true friends will always love each other and be there... despite the distance. The memories from the places we lived and people we know will remain with us for a lifetime, but THIS will be GOOD for us. No matter where you go in life it’s about your perspective and outlook... it is what you make of it, that is something I truly believe. Thank you to all of you who have supported us and continue to do so, we will be ok... if there’s one thing we both are, it’s fighters. Despite the uncertainty and doubt we may have about how everything will turn out, I know we have always made it in the past and that is what we plan to do in the future. Things have a tendency to work themselves out in one way or another. Today is day 39 of 40. I’ve done the same kundalini yoga practice every single day for 39 days. Without fail I did it when I was excited, when I wanted to skip it, when I was traveling, when I did it in routine, when I couldn’t wait to do it. This pic is about how I’m feeling right now. Pensive. Grateful. Proud. Thinking more about the universe and the energies in it than I probably ever have before. It’s crazy that you can feel so grounded and so thoughtful about the entire universe all at the same time! Kundalini was definitely not like any other yoga I’ve tried before. It’s so much more about breath and moving energy than other yogas that sometimes feel like another way to workout. If you’re curious at all about it I highly recommend trying it out! I’m excited to try some new experiences with it in the future. 4️⃣0️⃣ DAYS‼️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A leetle over a month ago I came back from school with one goal(its kinda stupid but whatever) to see my abs again😂🤷🏼♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ever since losing a TON of weight, my abs have been visible. I lost my abs when I left for school simply due to change in diet and lack of exercise. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Do you have to have abs to be healthy/fit/in shape/hot/whatever? HECK NO. In reality, Abs are HARD to maintain. For most people maintaining visible abs means a STRICT and CLEAN diet. (LBR that’s not gonna be reasonable for a long period of time.) However, some people naturally have visible abs.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m not quite sure what the weight difference is between these two pictures but TBH I don’t really care. Weight is just a number and we ARE NOT defined by it. I’m also 100% aware that in the right picture I don’t have a “six pack”, (I’ve never had a six pack so IDEK if that’s possible for me) BUT I’m not quite where I want to be in this cut SOOO imma keep pushing and working hard!!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Set your mind to something and get to work.
