The United States Military is the largest transgender employer in the U.S., and yet those who serve must conceal their true identity because military policies ban their service. “Transgender, at War and in Love” profiles Logan Ireland, who just finished his deployment serving as a male. He finds support from his leaders and peers while his fiancée Laila Villanueva, who was assigned male at birth, faces a different journey. This touching tale for modern times comes from director @fionajdawson and producers @gesilver and @jamiebcoughlin of @sidexsidestudios. The short was screened as a #VCselect at our March gathering in Washington D.C. Check our the film at the link in our bio ☝️.
