I had one of the best dinners of my life last night at @dialogue.sm from chef @dcberan. For me it was the perfect balance of adventurous eating and beyond belief deliciousness. Many modern chefs forego the yummy factor for ingenuity, but here you get both in spades, with each small plate both leading into the next dish with a crossover flavor as well as a sharp contrast. And as if it was meant to be the whole meal was topped off with a piece of gooey butter cake - the St. Louis delicacy I grew up with. And the people there are really nice too! Thanks to them all (as well as @theyearofelan for bringing me - in gratitude I chose a photo of him here with his eyes closed).
