Hello lovely humans! I’ve been a bit absent on the art front this year due to life things and a recent move. I’ll be getting back on track with new art soon, but for now need to clear space and get rid of the old, which means... studio sale time! Who likes coffee? This little leaf is up for grabs amongst others. Framed original made with pyrography, turmeric, indigo, coffee, and 24kt gold leaf. fayhelfer.com/shop under ‘originals’ category or contact me anytime email@example.com for any info.
Dear family and friends, As you probably already know, hurricanes have devastated much of the Caribbean recently. One of the islands most affected by Hurricane Irma was my home: the sweet land of St.Martin/Maarten (SXM). The utter destruction, and the stories of fear, survival and loss are beyond imaginable. However, community will prevail through the hardest times and every little bit will help in the efforts to rebuild. How can you help? All proceeds from the sale of this artwork will be donated to organizations helping the island of St.Martin/St.Maarten recover from the devastation of Hurricane Irma (follow link in bio). You can also donate directly to these organizations: * "RebuildSXM":http://rebuildsxm.com/ was founded by the Unified St. Maarten Connection, an organization that supports students in their studies in Europe. They are based in the Netherlands and are collecting donations for long-term initiatives (infrastructure, schools, hospital etc). * "K1 Britannia foundation":https://k1britanniafoundation.org/ is a local charity, also supported by the Unified St Maarten Connection. Their work involves grass-root projects, specially involving youth with a focus on social issues. * "St. Maarten Hospitality & Trade Association (SHTA)":http://shta-relief.sx/ is an organization that has put together a relief effort to deliver badly-needed supplies and equipment to St Maarten. * "SXM Festival Go Fund Me":https://www.gofundme.com/rescuesxm is endorsed by the St Maarten Tourism Bureau. * "Art Saves Lives Foundation":https://www.facebook.com/ArtSavesLivesProject/ is conducting an initiative to help the island recover. They created two gift registries for the items needed: one at "Costco":https://www.myregistry.com/public/savesxm and one at "Walmart":https://www.walmart.com/lists/view-wish-list-items?id=7d033c0d-d2dd-4e8e-a8e9-90b7f29b54d0. They are asking people to purchase any of the items on the registry, which will be delivered to the people of St Maarten. Thank you for your willingness to help! All the ❤️ to you all. Extra thanks to @candelafineart. #sxmstrong #sxmrebuild #rebuildsxm #irma #hurricaneirma #stmartin #stmaarten #fayhelfer
