The painter in his natural habitat (The Painted Hills). Tonight you can find me in my other happy place (my art studio). We are hosting a Spring Open Studios party at @falconartcommunity and it’s going to be a gooden! Great chance to tour the studios and catch secret live performances by some of the falcon musicians. Bam bam! See you tonight Photo by @nowandbren
It’s hard to believe a month has nearly gone by! If you haven’t had a chance to see my show ‘Awakenings’, there’s still two more days to catch it (comes down the evening of the sixth). I want to thank @the_red_e for being so phenomenal to work with and for making really really good macchiatos!
The American Bison was once the most abundant large mammal to roam North America. In the mid to late 1800’s their population was cut from an estimated 30 million to less than 400. It’s hard to fathom the scale of this slaughter, the piles of bone, the plains painted in red. ‘Sundial’ 30” x 46” oil on canvas
Sometimes the submission process feels like reaching into a black hole. I want to thank the galleries and publications that have taken the time to reach back. It’s good to know there’s someone on the other side 👽🖖🏼
